TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RADTAG (PTY) Ltd


ORDERS

QUOTES/PRICING
Anything that is not found on the pricelist, please email for a price
Price estimates are based on current cost of production and unless otherwise agreed, are subject to amendment on or any time after acceptance where such amendment is required in order to meet any rise or fall in such costs.
Regular leadtime (depending on print complexity and order quantity) from artwork sign off is 3-5 days, any jobs that need to be out within 48 hours of placing the order resulting in overtime worked will carry an additional charge of 25% to cover overtime.
Clerical errors or omissions whether in computation or otherwise in the quotation, acknowledgement or invoice, shall be subject to correction.


PAYMENTS
Payment of all orders need to be made prior to collection.
A deposit may be required prior to processing certain orders.
An administration fee may be charged on all overdue amounts in addition to any other charges pursuant to this clause.
All costs of or incurred as a result of a default by the client including but not limited to administration charges, debt collection costs and legal costs as between Attorney and client, shall be payable by the client.
Radtag shall retain ownership of all goods supplied until it receives payment in full of all amounts owing by the client for orders.
In the event of non payment or if payment of the client's account is overdue, Radtag shall be entitled without prejudice to any right it has at law, to enter the place where the goods are stored whether at the client's premises
or the premises or property of a third party for the purpose of recovering and taking possession of goods supplied.


ARTWORK
Artwork must either be provided in Vector pdf, corel draw or illustrator to avoid redraw charges.
Redrawing will be at a minimum cost of R250 per 30min redraw time
All paid for redrawn artwork will be handed over to the client for future use
High res images provided that are of a quality good enough to trace won't be charged out, however it will remain the property of RadTAG unless paid for.
Simple text and logo's that will take no longer than 15min will be at no charge
Always try to get the clients exact pantone number, if this is not available, we will try our best to match it as close as possible.  Colour pick's are not guaranteed as it at the client risk if no pantone match,
All artwork layouts are sent to the client for approval. Radtag shall not incur liability for any errors not corrected by the client in proofs submitted.
Unless negotiated and agreed in writing, the copyright of general artwork, commissioned artwork and illustrations and anything else whatsoever prepared, developed or created by Radtag, shall vests in and belong to Radtag. Radtag may use any artwork or printing produced by itself.
The client shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary authorities and consents to reproduce images, artwork, photographs, copyright text and/or any other
reproducible materials prior to instructing Radtag to do the same.
The client shall indemnify and hold Radtag harmless against all claims, demands, actions, costs, expenses(including but not limited to legal costs and disbursements),
losses and damages arising from or suffered or incurred by reason of any claim (including but not limited to the defence of such claim) that the reproduction of the materials by Radtag infringes the intelletual property or other rights of any third party or misuses the confidential information of a third party.
Full colour printing - All reasonable efforts shall be made to obtain the best possible colour reproduction on a client's work. Variation is however inherent in the print process.
It should be understood and accepted by the client as reasonable. Radtag shall not be required to guarantee an exact match in colour or texture between the client's photograph, transparency, artwork, electronic graphic file, previously printed matter (whether printed by Radtag or another party) or any other materials supplied by the client and the printed article that is the subject of the client's order.
Should an order for which an artwork layout was sent not materialise, a fee of R150 may be charged.


SAMPLES
Samples are charged out at the full printing/setup rates. Should the order then come through, rerun setup charges will apply
If you have an overly fussy client or we feel that it's a product that won't benefit by branding it, we reserve the right to insist on a pre-production sample at the clients expense.
Preproduction samples continued - If there happen to be any changes after a first sample, a second sample must be produced.
All old plates and positives will be put aside, we will then order new positives, make new plates and a second sample. If the client has seen this and is happy, we continue with the order thus eliminating the possibility of running the incorrect artwork.


STOCK
We prefer to only do artwork layouts when we receive the stock in order to foresee any problems there might be with substrate and artwork provided and also to be able to confirm the print size/area. (Unless it's an item we've printed many times before that we're well familiar with)
Radtag will assume that all quantities of materials supplied shall be adequate to cover normal spoilage accordingly of 1 per 100.
If the quantities of materials supplied are not sufficient to cover normal spoilage, then Radtag shall have no liability for any shortfall in quantity to the extent that such shortfall.
arises as a result of such insufficient supply.
All property supplied by the client shall while in the possession of Radtag be deemed to be at the client's risk and the client should insure such property accordingly.
Radtag will have no liability in respect of any work being of less than reasonably satisfactory quality as a result of defects in or the unsuitability of materials supplied or specified by the client.

SETUP FEES

Setup fee's do not cover screen's, positives or plates, this remains the property of Radtag.  Setup fee's cover the time artwork layouts, administration of the order and the time it takes to set up the job and well as consumbles pertaining to screen prep.  Should the client wish to keep positives/plates, it will be charged for.

REJECTS

In the event of print rejects, we reserve the right to either accept or reject discrepancies based on variables such as substrate, approved artwork, etc.  If we accept the rejects as printer error, we do not refund,  we will replace and reprint the rejected stock at our expense.
